After I got my zune, I wanted some way to listen to it in my car because my radio would occasionally konk out. I was quite happy with the sound2go. After a couple of weeks the sound would fade in and out when it moved and I eventually realized it was a loose wire connection. An even exchanged was pursued until I received notice that it was no longer available. I did further research and found a replacement. It worked out for the better because my new speaker is more compact and stores my zune in it’s case. Other than the wire trouble the Sound2go was a good choice, but not so much for car travel as for enjoying from a table top.

The main complaint I have about this speaker is that its computer plug in cord is way too short; only about 5″. Since I’m using it with a laptop, I would like for it to sit on the table next to me; not 5″ from the computer.

The sound is just okay. Better than the computer speakers, but no where near as good quality stereo. But not bad for the price.

Was looking for something to take with my laptop on business trips. Thought it was smaller. This is too big and heavy for convenient travel, but is good if you want something that you don’t have to move VERY frequently. Decent sound.

It’s a USB powered speaker with sound quality noticably superior to the integrated speakers on most laptops. It’s no substitute for a subwoofer or surround sound, but it delivers as a decent set of laptop speakers for which you never need to buy batteries. They’re compact enough to throw in a backpack or roomy laptop bag. My biggest complaint is that the audio cable is exceedingly short, so I can only set the speaker on the side of my computer with a headphone jack. Still, I highly reccommend it for both the flexibility and portability aspects.

My girlfriend was given one of these when she started as an intern at her current employer. All the computer geeks in her intern class loved it.
