People out there have to know that a cheap $100 clock radio isn’t going to be perfect. Many people say the backlight is too bight, deal with it. If you don’t put the iH5 right next to your head, it won’t be so bright. Others say that the Reason 8 speakers don’t have a good enough bass booster, IT’S ONLY A CLOCK RADIO!!! If you want descent bass booster buy a $100-$200 stereo system, don’t expect this little clock radio to supply you with a deep bass. And still others say that the alarm is too loud. Isn’t that the alarm’s job, to wake you up. I don’t care if the easy wake system dosen’t work, I just want to get up. I like my iH5, and I will not be returning it. It does its job.

You know how you’ve always wanted a compact digital clock and song player in one unit? Well, this’s perfect for you! Don’t have an ipod? No problem! The unit comes with a cable to attach to almost any other mp3 player or portable cd player. The sound is great, and you can set the alarm clock to a song! This is a great gadget to have. I’ve always wanted one, and I was pleasantly surprised to recieve the ihome as a present. This really cool unit is at a reasonable price. I don’t mean to sound like a commercial or anything, but you should get yours today!

Wow! The iHome is SO much better than all the other iPod stereos (etc.) It has an alarm clock, big screen and while your iPod charges, you can even listen to music! This is a MUST have accessory for your iPod. It even looks nice and the music’s quality is perfect. Forget the other iPod speaker. Get iHome!

If you examine this item as a clock radio without the value added iPod charging/playback feature, it falls short on features. In addition to the bright light and loud alram issues, be advised there are *no* radio presets so all tuning must be manual and no headphone jack. For the money, I don’t think this unit stands up as a clock radio. The value added iPod playing/charging feature has to overcome the poor clock radio features to justify the reltaive heafty cost.
