iHome 51 once again disappoints. The subwoofer didn’t work out of the box. The last iHome product we bought had to be returned until we got to the 3rd one that finally worked. There is nothing more irritating than kids being disappointed because a company doesn’t properly inspect products before shipping. Do not buy anything with the iHome name!!!!!!

I tried this unit out and am impressed with its small size and ability to deliver good sound. A bit more bass would heave been nice, but for the money it’s tough to beat.
The only thing I don’t like about it is the clock. Why must it be a clock radio? I don’t want yet another clock I need to mind. iHome please consider a model sans clock.

There is one problem I have with this iHome. It is too hard to find. It sounds great. I especially like the two separate alarm clocks with the 2 5 7 day option. No more turning my alarm off on weekends – the iHome does it for me. If you can find this stereo – then buy it.

The sound quality for this item is great! It sounds like a stereo with big speakers, but was compact enough for my daughter’s dorm room. It also has 2 alarms, which is very helpful.
