I just bought two of these Cradles from seller Eforcity – Purchased two hoping I would only be charged for one S&H of $2.98 (I hate paying for S&H since I paid the $80 for Amazon prime) – but no, they are charging me $5.96 for S&H. In addition, this item charges Tax (8.75%) to CA buyers – moreover, tax is not just for total of items, they also tax you on S&H which I think is ridiculous.
Once I receive the cradle, I will write a review on the actual product.

I’m getting the same message as the other reviewer “this Accessory is not supported by iPhone” While it does charge my iPhone, it’s sucks it doesn’t do much of anything else it promised. I emailed Eforcity a couple of times with a different agent emailing me back with a generic and dismissive response saying that the description states it works…well it doesn’t and I want my money back! Don’t buy through eforcity, this is the second item I purchased through them that states it is compatible with the iphone and it is not.

There should be a disclosure that the pause/play,and skip functions do not work with Iphone 3G. A repeated nag screen saying “not supported” is very annoying. The only thing this cradle will do:
1. Charge iphone
2. Remote use of volume
3. Tha’s it!

I got this dock for a pretty cheap price from eforcecity. Shipping was fast and cheap. The dock works well for my needs. I use it at work to charge my IPhone 3GS and play music through some powered speakers. The only issue is I keep getting the “This accessory is not supported by IPhone” nag screen on the iphone. It appears every 5 minutes or so and goes away. I notice now that the description says it is not compatible with firmware V3.0 although it does say that it is compatible with the Iphone 3GS. The remote only works on the volume but since the dock is next to me at my desk, I don’t really need the remote.
