This is a very good i-pod docking station, clock, and wake-to-music from an iPod. Sound quality from an iPod is good. Clock is easy to read and alarm easy to set. Display can be dimmed one level; at the bright setting it is not obtrusive in a bedroom.
It is not a good radio or wake-to-radio alarm, as AM reception is poor, and FM reception fuzzy. AM & FM antennas are external and need be moved around to find the best reception, which means extra wires draped around the area of the radio. The Sharp iPod Clock radio was to replace an older GE clock radio, which gets good AM & FM reception in the location using internal antennas. This Sharp clock radio was returned; I’ll use the GE until a better clock radio with internal antennas and good radio sound is available.
